Rowena Nixon
Associate Director, Grants Management
Rowena Nixon is an associate director of grants management at the foundation. She oversees a team of four grants managers across the New York programs, with the BUILD program as its grants management expert, and with the Office of the EVP. She is a seasoned grants management professional who has worked at Ford for over 18 years.
With a background spanning multiple program areas at the foundation, Rowena brings a blend of programmatic and operational expertise to her role. Her work on the BUILD team enables her to engage with diverse program teams, regional offices, and grantees, fostering meaningful connections and impactful partnerships.
Rowena is a New York State licensed social worker (LMSW) and received a co-active coaching certificate from CTI in 2024.
