Saidou Camara
Program Assistant, Creativity and Free Expression
Saidou Camara is a program assistant on the Creativity & Free Expression team. He provides administrative and logistical support to the Journalism and JustFilms program officers.
Prior to joining the foundation in 2024, Saidou worked as an artist initiatives associate at Creative Capital, a grantmaking organization that supports artists around the United States in the creation of new work. Before that, he was the program administrative assistant for The Paul & Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans, which provides funding to immigrants and children of immigrants pursuing graduate studies in the United States. Saidou is also an alum of Ford’s summer internship program, having previously interned with the Information Management team in 2018.
Saidou holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology with a minor in Africana studies from Bowdoin College.
