Sollana Brown-Irvin
Impact Investing Fellow, Mission Investments
Sollana Brown-Irvin is an investment fellow on the Mission Investments team at the Ford Foundation. She supports execution and management of investments under the Foundation’s two mission investment funds—the $350 million program-related investment fund and the $1 billion mission-related investment fund.
Sollana’s current work builds on her background in traditional and social finance. Before joining Ford, she worked for several years in BlackRock’s Municipal Bond Group in a dual role. She served as both a credit research analyst and as a member of the Impact Investing team, where she managed the Impact fund her team launched in 2022.
Post BlackRock, Sollana was a venture fellow at Rogue Women’s Fund, an early-stage fund investing in women-led tech start-ups, and an intern at Riffle Ventures, an early-stage venture climate fund.
Sollana is originally from Brooklyn and holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
