“Leaders develop cultures with their people that are courageous, healthy, psychologically safe, able to navigate tensions, and make a tangible difference in the world.”

Dr. Troy Jackson is the executive director of the nonprofit UNDIVIDED, a pastor, and an author based in greater Cincinnati, Ohio. UNDIVIDED works with pastors and other faith and community leaders to develop proactive strategies for addressing racial disparities and inequality.

Troy co-founded UNDIVIDED in 2016 in response to a lack of programs designed to address injustice from faith-based perspectives. The organization facilitates trainings, fellowships, and other programs among a varied group of leaders across belief systems, with the goal of helping them engage in meaningful dialogue and take actionable steps towards solidarity and community building. Troy is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary and earned his doctorate in U.S. history from the University of Kentucky.

Troy and UNDIVIDED work on behalf of those who have been discriminated against, especially those who are connected to evangelical congregations in the United States. He and his UNDIVIDED colleagues envision equitable systems in which all people have opportunity to flourish.
