Founder, WorkMoney

WorkMoney envisions an America where everyone can afford to live a good life—no exceptions. We want to equip people with the tools they need to raise their incomes and lower their costs through assistance programs and tax refunds they’re already entitled to but may not be aware of. We are a Ford grantee and have built a resource so anyone in America can text, call, email, or web-chat us and get connected to any one of dozens of different government programs that can help them pay for groceries or their heating bill, learn about available tax credits, and more. It’s a one-stop shop for getting dollars back into your pocket.

In the last year, we have put some $663 million in 477,000 people‘s pockets. There are programs, services, and tax credits available for people of all income levels. A lot of that money is meant to go to taxpayers around the country, but no one’s going to hand it to us. We’ve got to do the work to get it.
